Peter Gosselin is a senior healthcare analyst with Bloomberg Government. Before coming to Bloomberg, he was a special economic adviser for health reform at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and prior to that, chief speechwriter for then-Secretary of the Treasury Timothy F. Geithner. He is a former visiting fellow at the Urban Institute and author of HIRE WIRE. The Precarious Financial Lives of American Families (Basic Books, 2008).
Mr. Gosselin spent 35 years in newspapers, most recently as chief economics correspondent for The Los Angeles Times. He has a bachelor's degree from Brown University and an MBA in economics from Columbia University. He and his teenage twins live in Washington D.C.
